It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Evelyn Williams of Swainsboro, Georgia, born in Statesboro, Georgia, who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Willie Fail and Lillie Mae Fail; her husband Arthur Lamar Williams; and her son Billy Monroe Williams. She is survived by: her children, Bobby Williams, Ray Williams, Betty Hall, Barbara Hall (David), Becky Rutherford (Nathan), Emily Miczek and Geneva Hall; and her sisters, Carrie Finch and Dorothy Underwood. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 26 greatgrandchildren, many great-greatgrandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
