Mary Carroll Foskey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Carroll Foskey of Swainsboro, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Clifford and Eliza Maddox Carroll; her husband Ralph Foskey of Adrian, GA.; her daughter Jan Foskey Hemphill; and her siblings, Reuben Carroll, Lester Carroll, Elmer Carroll, Thurmon Carroll, Rosa Lee Hoover, Irene Kitchens and Virginia Brantley.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Foskey (Kim) of Birmingham, AL; her son-in-law Jim Hemphill of Evans, GA; her grandchildren, Walt Foskey (Caitlin) of Birmingham, AL, Elizabeth Hemphill of Evans, GA, Hope Foskey Davis (Taylor) of Alabaster, AL and Wes Foskey (Cassidy) of Lake Oconee; her sister Hazel Carroll Rachels of Wrightsville, GA; and her brother-in-law Jim Wilson of Sylvania, GA. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel (718 S Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be directed to the Calvary Methodist Church Senior Meals Mission Fund.
