We bid farewell to Mae Kelly of Swainsboro, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 18, 2025 at the age of 90. Mae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen D. Sr. Hall and Maggie Kirkland Hall; her husband James W. "Jimmy" Kelly; and her siblings, Bo, Bennett Hall, Wynelle Chapman, Virginia Willis and Mary Scott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Stephens of Athens, Diane Parker of Brunswick, Mona Schofill (Pat) of Cleveland and Tammy Wilkes (Don) of Swainsboro; her sisters, Betty Black of Millen and Martha Beasley of Swainsboro; her grandchildren, Jill Walton (Geoffrey), Josh Stephens (Merri), Bo Parker (Sarah), Lauren Fralick (Frank), Jessica Harrill (Jack), Weston Wilkes (Danielle), Zach Schofill (Danielle) and Case Schofill (Hilary); and her great grandchildren, Callie, Reese, Charlie Walton, Emma, Weston Parker, Sam, Bo Stephens, Carter, Hudson, Bailor Harrill, Tate Wilkes, Mae Elizabeth, Anne Winfield Fralick, Rowyn, Maris Schofill, Eva and Eli Schofill.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors (206 E Pine St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peebles Curry Memorial Chapel (206 E Pine St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A burial will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Eastbrook Cemetery.
