She is survived by: her parent Evie Dell Cooper Pernell; her husband Mike Roberts; and her children, Laura Roberts Johnson (Johnnie Allen), Shana Roberts Wilkerson (Lester Carter), Michelle Roberts Cox (Jerry Cox) and Michael Roberts, Jr. (Courtney Wilkerson).
