He is survived by: his wife Wanda Smith of Swainsboro; his children, Kyle Smith (Samantha Martinez) of Swainsboro and Ashley Brett (Dan) of Wadley; his sisters, Carolyn Faye Sweat (George) of Goose Creek, SC and Lerah Jane Smith of Swainsboro; his grandchildren, Easton Brett, Morgan Smith and Shawn Martinez; and his brother Gregg Oglesby. He is also survived by Twin City; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He was strong in his faith and said during his Covid fight – "The Best Is Yet To Come!".
