He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Canady and Farie Proctor Canady; his wife Johnnie Sherrod Canady; and his siblings, Richard Canady, Howard Canady, Sara Rabishaw, Joyce Wiggins, Ann Edenfield and Gerline Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Canady (Teah) of Swainsboro and Becky Benefield (Leland) of Thompsons Station, TN; his granddaughters, Kala Allmond (Sam), Alie Hendley (Tyler) and Kristin Reed; and his great grandchildren, Canady Cole Allmond, Ava James Allmond and Bishop Hendley.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Eastbrook Cemetery.
