He was predeceased by: his parents, Lessie Lester and Oscar Lester; and his siblings, Earnest Cowart and Ruthie Hayden. He is survived by: his children, Trimiko Lester of Savannah, Larry Joe Lester, Jr. of Texas, Torie Lester of Augusta, Georgia., Angelica Moore of Atlanta and Latoya Lester of Hinesville, Georgia.; and his sisters, Patricia Johnson (Harvester) of Radcliff, Imogene Kingery of Swainsboro, Juanita Palmer (Willie) of Atlanta, Georgia. and Gail Southerland of Atlanta, Georgia.. He is also survived by Six grandchildren, nephews, nieces, many cousins.
