He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sampson "J. S." and Gladys Cowart Bedingfield; his siblings, Don Bedingfield and Ohma Bedingfield Waters; his siblings-in-law, Newt Waters and Mary Bedingfield; and his parents-in-law, Andrew J., Sara and Johns.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Johns Bedingfield; his daughters, Kim Bedingfield Foskey (Jerry) of Greensboro, GA and Dr. Karen Bedingfield Ross (Dennis) of Swainsboro, GA; his brothers, Johnny Bedingfield of Guyton, GA and Jerry Bedingfield (Amy) of Louisville, GA; his sister-in-law Jenny Bedingfield; his grandchildren, Walt Foskey (Caitlin), Hope Foskey Davis (Taylor) and Wes Foskey (Cassidy); his great grandchildren, Wells Wade Foskey and Graham Christopher Davis; and his caregivers, JoAnne Williams, Corene Johnson, Laney Claxton, Kathy Hopkins, Victoria Canady and Cathaleen Ricks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
