She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Lewis and Trudie Mae Stapleton Akridge; her husband Carlton Leslie Canady, Sr.; her children, Dawn Sherrod, Leslie Canady Jr. and Darrell Canady; her siblings, Annie Marsh, Leona Jones, James Akridge of Stillmore, GA and Alvie Akridge; and her granddaughter Kayla Sherrod.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Hart (Larry) of Metter, GA and Dianne Edenfield (Lynn) of Swainsboro, GA.; her siblings, Martha Nell Beasley (Dent) of Swainsboro, GA., Jean Henry (Colon) of Swainsboro, GA., Ralph Akridge of Kemp, GA and Elzie Akridge of Swainsboro, GA.; her grandchildren, Roland Hart (Melanie), Jamie Purvis (Donnie), Clint Canady (Christina), Brook Moye (Jeremy), Brandon Canady (Crystal), Trudie Lynn Kasper (Robby), Lance Edenfield (Brianna), Korey Sherrod and Candice Canady (Antonio); and her great grandchildren, Margo Hart, Brycen Purvis, Luke Moye, Jayden Purvis, Cooper Canady, Katie Dawn Kasper, Lora Layne Edenfield, Josh Moye, Braylen Johnson, Connor Canady, Aubrey Johnson, Walter Reid Kasper and Elynn Kasper.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6-8 PM, CDC social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks are encouraged for your safety and others.
