He was predeceased by: his siblings, Barney Mason, Sammy Mason, Grable Mason, Paul Mason and Jane Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Mattie Mason of Swainsboro; his children, Michael Mason of Swainsboro and Debra Jefferson of Warner Robins; and his siblings, Howard Mason of Swainsboro, Danny Mason of Swainsboro, Wayne Mason (Tricia) of Swainsboro, Patsy Colston (Johnnie) and Linda Mason. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
