She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivey Nunn and Christine Lively Lamb; her husband Alton Jackson (Pete); her children, Olin Jackson and Tracy Jackson; and her brothers, Jerry Nunn and Tony Nunn.
She is survived by: her children, James Jackson of Swainsboro, Shelia Kirby (Mark) of Nunez, Leisa McGee of Swainsboro, Amanda Miller (James) of Guyton and Jenny Kersey (Grayson) of Wrightsville; and her siblings, Wayne Nunn of Atlanta, Barbara Shirey of Swainsboro, Mary Ann Brantley (Morris) of Swainsboro, Joan Achy (Steve) of Swainsboro and Sybil Kirby (Brad) of Adrian. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the Eastbrook Cemetery (1082 US-80, Swainsboro, GA 30401).
