He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Martin Scarboro and Mildred Rowland Harper; his daughter Nicole Scarboro; his siblings, Joe Scarboro, Ray Scarboro and Jewell Yvonne Mason; and his grandson John Christian Malphrus.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Scarboro of Swainsboro; his daughters, Diane Craig of Aiken, SC and Samantha Scarboro; and his siblings, Carol Scarboro of Swainsboro, Ronny Scarboro (Elaine) of Kite, Randall Scarboro (Gloria) of Swainsboro, Sandra Faircloth (Lamar) of Kite and Cynthia Sheppard of Swainsboro. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children hospital or the Herrington Homestead - Georgia Sheriff's Youth Home.
