He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mckenzie and Mattie McBride; his wife Janet Elizabeth Peacock; and his siblings, Georgia Mae Kersey, Clifford McKenzie, Frank McKinzie, Rudolph McKenzie, Henry McKenzie and Hershel McKinzie.
He is survived by: his close friend Eva Elmore; his daughter Janelle Jones (Roy) of Richmond Hill; and his grandson Garrett Jones (Ella Boissonnault). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends.
