He is survived by: his wife Kathy Claxton; his children, Mathew Keith Claxton (Brenda), Joshua Claxton and Kristal Smith (Wayne); his daughter-in-law Sara Edmond; his grandchildren, Lindsey Simmons (Matt), Levi Smith and Jewel Adelaide Claxton; his great grandchildren, McKinley, Stetson and Garrison Simmons; and his brother Willis Claxton, Jr. (Diane). He is also survived by nieces, grand-nieces, nephews, grand nephews, and friends.
