He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Jones and Emma Lee Samples Jones; and his siblings, Carl Jones, Jr., Pete Jones, Ray Jones, George Jones, Bess Jones and Rosemary Womack.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Jones of Swainsboro; his sons, Bill Bailey (Cathy) of Elkhart, TX, Mark Bailey (Terri) of Braswellton and Rusty Bailey of Swainsboro; and his sister Carlous Ann Robb (Steve) of Midway. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
