She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Milton and Delma Anglin Lumpkin; and her brothers, Joseph Milton Lumpkin, Jr. and Walter Lumpkin. She is survived by: her husband Herbert Eugene Simmons of Swainsboro, GA; her children, Gennie S. Wright (Noel) of Isle, Clay Simmons (Sandi) and Bill Simmons (Marcie) of Swainsboro, GA; and her grandchildren, Tripp Howard, Joe Howard, Wes Simmons, Jessica Collins, Heath Simmons, Rachel Hilton, Laura Simmons, David Simmons, Kelly Whitworth and Megan Cobb.
