With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Green Sherrod (Swainsboro, Georgia), born in Stillmore, Georgia, who passed away on September 6, 2018 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Samples Sherrod; his siblings, Bud Sherrod, Oliver Sherrod Jr., Billy Sherrod, Jeanette Boatright, Annie Ruth Oglesby and Margaret Brown; and his brother-in-law Buddy Samples.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Brown (Jesse) of Twin City; his sister-in-law JoAnn Archer (George) of Twin City; and his brother James Earl Sherrod of Sillmore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
