It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Marion Stroud of Swainsboro, Georgia, born in Wadley, Georgia, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Portwood and Adele Lockhart Portwood; her husband Delmer Stroud; and her siblings, Rollie Portwood, Lonnie Portwood and Carol Berry.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Stroud of Dellwood and Becki Stroud of Clarks Hill, SC; and her siblings, Glen Portwood (Carole) of Macon and Margaret McGowan of Grovetown. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members.
