She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Smith Dekle and Hortense Fountain Dekle. She is survived by: her husband Terry Gay of Swainsboro; her sons, Adam Gay (Chasity) of Swainsboro, Jonathan Gay (Kandace) of Claxton and Daniel Gay of Statesboro; her grandson Rexton Gay; and her brothers, Larry Dekle (Linda) of Walnut Cove, NC and Jim Dekle (Linda) of Swainsboro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
