She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Hampton and Sadie Hampton (Deacon Clifton Hampton); her daughter Sandra Boynton; her grandsons, Omar Boynton, Donta'e Arnold and Jaden Hennegan-Boynton; and her siblings, John Powell, Roosevelt Hampton, James Hampton Sr. and Sara Outler.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Heath (Jasper) of McDonough, GA, Troy Boynton (Deborah) of Brooklyn, NY and Michael Boynton (Millicent) of Lawrenceville; her sisters, Lady Mary Ellen Fowler of Summertown, GA, Alpha Johnson, Pearl Boykins (Thomas), Swainsboro, Doris Hargrove (Calvin) of Philadelphia, PA, Doris Davis (Joe) and Lorene Peeples (Sammy); and her nieces, Trina Brown (Michael) of York, SC. and Gloria Jackson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
