We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2024, at the age of 75, Ernie Lee Roberson of Swainsboro, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Roberson and Janie Durden Roberson; his son Alexander Roberson; and his brother Ronnie Roberson. He is survived by: his wife Madge Roberson; his children, Frances Durden, Priscilla Blount (James) and Chad Roberson; his siblings, Dan Roberson, Sr. of Swainsboro, Wanda Gordy of Swainsboro, Jan Akridge of Stillmore and Sarah Jones (Ricky) of Wrightsville; and his mother-in-law Margie Fouche of Swainsboro. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at the Roberson Family Cemetery.
