He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Owens and Rosa Lee Owens. He is survived by: his daughters, Regina M. Bell and Teresa Owens; his siblings, Johnny W. Owens and Eula M. Owens; and his close friends, Brenda Shuman and Charlotte Coursey. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
