She was predeceased by: her parents, Tobie M. Wilson, Jr. and Jerri C. Walker; her granddaughter Deorie Foots; and her grandparents, Tobie M. Wilson, Sr., Nannie D. Wilson, James B. Canady and Faeria Proctor Canady.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carla Foots (Dewayne) of Swainsboro and Crystal Wilson of Greensboro, SC; her stepfather Bobby Walker of Swainsboro; her sisters, Melanie Powell of Reidsville, Teresa Newsome (Ronnie) of Swainsboro and Tammy Donaldson (Lew); her grandchildren, Shanjuanyea Wadley, Dorien Foots, Caziah Foots, Calynn Foots Yiale Foots, Joel Lewis, III, Joliyah Mitchel and Joyleous Mitchel; and her great grandchildren, Joel Lewis, IV and Gabrielle Lewis. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
