In the vast expanse of eternity, Cathy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Cathy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Turner and Sandra Johnson Turner. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Coleman of Swainsboro and Ashly Mills (Stanley) of Wrightsville; her brothers, Robert Turner and Danny Turner; and her grandchildren, Ashstan Mills and Lyley Mills. She is also survived by one niece, four nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the Eastbrook Cemetery (1082 US-80, Swainsboro, GA 30401).
