He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Gardner Young and Wilhelmina Brown Young; and his siblings, Clarence Young, Lillian Harper, Marie Harper, Christine Merrion, Margaret Brinson and Ruby Lynch.
He is survived by: his sons, Quavius Rountree of Swainsboro and Timothy Young of Vidalia; his brothers, James Young of Swainsboro and Clifford Young of Swainsboro; his close friend Glennell Eason of Swainsboro; and his nieces, Annette James of Swainsboro, Star Young of Swainsboro and Shawanica Hackett of Swainsboro. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and many friends.
