We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2018, at the age of 83, Atelia Hopkins (Swainsboro, Georgia), born in Soperton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Delmas Sweat, Vernon Sweat and Harry Gene Sweat. She is survived by: her husband Elmo Hopkins of Swainsboro; her sons, Ronnie E. Hopkins (Carmen), Kelvin L. Hopkins of Swainsboro and Donnie G. Hopkins (Maria) of Sebring; her grandchildren, Chris Hopkins (Marilyn), Beth Wiggins (Tadd), Sheyna Faulkner (Josh), Jessica Hopkins, Erika Blackmon (Cody), Gennie Woodard (Steven), Maura Braddock (Tommy) and Margaret Anne Garrett; and her great grandchildren, Jaxson Wiggins, Lawton Wiggins, Bank Hopkins, Luke Hopkins, Kaitlann Faulkner, Carter Hayes, Kyler Blackmon, Hayden Rickey, Ranford Case Rickey and Grace Lynn Braddock. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
