He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ford and Shirley Whitehead Ford; and his siblings, Ernestine Telfair, Jimmy and Jerry Ford.
He is survived by: his sisters, Gladys F. Coleman of Swainsboro, Georgia and Willa Dean Turner (Robert) of Swainsboro, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
