She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Paul Barwick and Lurene McDaniel Barwick Davis; her husband Larry Lynwood Newsome; her stepfather John Davis; and her siblings, Billy Barwick, Charlie Paul Barwick, Drunelle Lindsey and Amy Barwick.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Youngblood (Janet) of Baxley, J. C. Youngblood (Estine) of Baxley and Melinda Futch of Swainsboro; and her siblings, Marvin Davis (Debbie) of Vidalia, Ella Mae Fryburger (Jack Marsh) of Augusta, Mackie Lawrence of Vidalia and Cheryl B. Waters (Glen) of Vidalia. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
