It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter George Duffee Jr. of Suwanee, Georgia, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Walter farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Walter is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter George Duffee, Sr. and Bessie Ward Duffee; his wife Barbara Hutton Duffee; and his daughter Deborah Louise Duffee. He is survived by: his son Doug Duffee (Barbara); his grandchildren, Mandy Barnette (Will), Ashley Mann (Steve) and Christopher Duffee (Kayla); and his great grandchildren, Bailey Barnette and Brady Barnette.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park South Funeral Home (4121 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park South Chapel (4121 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542).
