With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theodora Lamel Pitt of Suwanee, Georgia, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 24, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Morton Pitt; and her children, Bryna Brook and Adam Pitt. She is survived by: her children-in-law, Martin Brooks of Buford, GA and Dana Pitt of Alpharetta, GA; her grandchildren, Danielle Brook of Buford, Kyle Pitt of Alpharetta, Jordan Pitt of Alpharetta and Erin Pitt of Alpharetta; and her siblings, Howard Lamel (Sheila) and Barbara Lamel. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“To me, she was Aunt Teddi. As a young child who lost his mother at a young age, it was always wonderful to visit with she and Uncle Morty. It was unfortunate that they lived so far away in Long Island, and my dad and I lived in New Jersey. Fond memories of those days include visits with Adam and Bryna, their children and my cousins. Sadly, Adam and Bryna are gone now as well. As time marches on, these warm memories are what mean everything. Rest in peace, Your Nephew, Barry Dwork”
