It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Preston Chivers of Suwanee, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Robert Blake Chivers; and his granddaughter Heather Fazell. He is survived by: his wife Gail Smith Chivers; his siblings, Judy Chivers (Dub) and David Chivers (Kathy); his niece Robin Clark (Paul); his grandson R. Blake Chivers; his nieces, April Williamson (Chris), Julia, Charley, Julie Chivers and Tracy Hurst; his daughter-in-law Deborah Ann Chivers; his sister-in-law Gwen Smith Denney; and his nieces and nephews, Arthur (Terese), Lyn Arnold (Alan) and Lee Gammage (Elliott).
