He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Bruaw and Viola Bruaw; and his sister Brenda Krone (Arthur). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis I. Bruaw; his children, Corwin Bruaw (Monica) and Carolee Romano (Jim); his sister Beverly Harman (Dale); and his grandchildren, Justin, Millie Bruaw, Rachael, Erica and Ashley Romano.
Rodger served as a council member at Epiphany Lutheran Church, president of the Bruaw family reunions, and he organized a support group for those suffering from early on set Parkinson's Disease.
