He is survived by: his wife Meizhen Wu Knight; his stepdaughters, Jessie Arnold and Lily Pan; his brother William Timothy Knight; and his sons-in-law, Bruce Zhang and Irvin Arnold. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
