He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pierce, and Evelyn Waldron Pierce, Sr.; his siblings, Barbara Echols (Jim), George Pierce, Jr. (Jean), Elizabeth Payne (Roy), Velma McLaughin (Jim) and Albert Pierce; and his sister-in-law Ruby Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Etheridge Pierce of Suwanee, GA; his children, Randall Pierce (Donna) of Blue Ridge, GA, Kay Buice (Hugh) of Sugar Hill, GA and Jennifer Long (Trey) of Monroe, GA; his grandchildren, Camille Sweeney (Shawn) of Dawsonville, GA, Cory Buice (Angela) of Sugar Hill, GA, Desiree Walls (Levi) of Atlanta, GA, Dana Winchester (Noah) of Bend, OR, Todd Buice of Sugar Hill, GA, Tommy Long of Athens, GA and Wesley Long of Statesboro, GA; his brother David Pierce, Sr. of Suwanee, GA; and his sister-in-law Ellen Pierce of Ariton, AL. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
