He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Cumby and Edith Cumby (Shutt) of Winston Salem; and his brother Mickey Cumby of Cusseta, Georgia.. He is survived by: his wife Emma Dowd Cumby of Suwanee, Georgia; his sons, Will (Adrianna) and Nick Cumby (Tara); his grandsons, Liam of Johns Creek, Georgia, Archer of Johns Creek, Georgia and Jackson Cumby of Johns Creek, Georgia; and his sisters, Jane Bullard of Mocksville and Billie Kimel of Winston Salem. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be sent to Doug Bullard, Don's nephew who is battling lung cancer, at 294 Split Creek Lane, Mocksville, North Carolina 27028.
