James Pokrant Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Pokrant of Suwanee, Georgia, born in Rochester, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Pokrant and Paula Pokrant; and his sister Kathryn Pokrant. He is survived by: his children, Emily Brynn Pokrant of Spring Hill, TN, Kathryn Isabella Pokrant of Buford, GA and Andrew Peter Pokrant of Buford; his brothers, Jeffrey Pokrant of Rochester, NY and John Pokrant (Marcia) of Centerville, VA; and his nephews, Justin Pokrant and Jonathan Pokrant.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Samaritan Food Bank in Gainesville, GA.
