He is survived by: his spouse Jean Higgins Spivey; his children, Cynthia, Jesse Evans of Augusta, GA and Sylvia Hammock; his stepdaughter Linda Dodd Pass of Cumming, GA; his grandchildren, Gianna Evans, Jackson Evans, Lauren Pate, Kyle Hammock and Scott Pass; and his sister Fran Mathis of Augusta, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
