He is survived by: his wife Amalia Soran; his children, Ioana, Taylor Martin, Dennis, Alexandra Batin and Livia Batin; his grandchildren, Aidan Martin, Alina Batin, Karisa Pirkle, Adrian Pirkle, Jacob Batin and Benjamin Batin; his sister Viorica Mihut; and his godparents, Carmen and Vali Lazar.
