He is survived by: his parents, Eddie Carter and Jarita Weeks Carter; his children, Max, Mason and Avery Carter; his sister Tiffany Nesmith (Kevin); and his nephews, Mahlon and Dennis Gingerich. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.
