She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Preston Mixon, Sr. and Syble Bacon Mixon; and her brother Horace Mixon, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert Charles Upchurch; her children, Robin Burkhalter (Rick Burkhalter) and Robert Upchurch (Sheli Upchurch); her grandchildren, Anna West (Bradley West), Sarah Kate Gautier (Sam Gautier), Ally Wilkins (Jackson Wilkens), Ella Upchurch and Cole Upchurch; her great grandchild Richie West; her sisters, Sue Brown and Vicki Cone (Howell Cone); and her sister-in-law Jeanne Mixon. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews.
