He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Wood and Mary "Granny" Wood; his wife Gail R. Wood; and his brother Sonny Wood. He is survived by: his children, David Wood, Jr. (Bridgett) of Dacula, Billy Wood of Suwanee, Tammy Baumann of South Carolina and Jimmy McClain (Karen) of Lawrenceville. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
