She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Almond (Francine) of Little Rock and Ruth Almond of Batesville, Arkansas.; her husband Michael G. Hurst; and her brother Dean Almond (Brenda). She is survived by: her children, Daren Painter of Fort Lauderdale and Molly Moore (Billy) of Buford, Georgia.; her grandson Caleb Moore; and her sister Patricia Bartlett (Tom) of Jefferson City, Missouri.. She is also survived by her family, friends.
