She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Donald Jafroy Griffin (Nancy Cook) of Durham, NC, Darrell Lynn Griffin (Bernice Griffin), Dean Gordon Griffin (Teresa Griffin) and Dave Stuart Griffin (Gail Griffin); her stepson Rusty Rutherford (Sherri Rutherford); her son Dennis Boyd Griffin; her husband Harold Young Rutherford; her sisters, Betty Jo Jones and Jean Askew; and her parents, James Hudson and Arabella Hudson (Hayes). She was also cherished by ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and other extended family.
