He is survived by: his wife Norma Carl Banfield of Suwanee, GA; his brother Melvin Banfield (Sharon) of Huber Heights, OH.; his children, Deborah Banfield of Johns Creek, GA., Vickie Banfield Wages (Jay) of Johns Creek, GA. and Gary Banfield (Debbie Maupin) of Kennesaw, GA.; his grandchildren, Byron Wages (Kristina) of Oakland, CA., Kennedy Wages of Charleston, SC. and Kristen Bradford of Molena, GA; and his great grandchildren, Knox and Arabella.
