He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Griffin and Mabel Page Griffin; and his siblings, Leonard Griffin, Linda Mathews, Melvin Griffin, Tommy Griffin and Glenn Griffin.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Cooper Griffin of Sumner; his children, Teri Griffin (Roger) of Poulan, Larry Griffin (Tammie) of Albany, Jerry Griffin (Misty) of Poulan and Shannon Cooper; his grandchildren, Jesse Bryan (Chrissy), Leigh Ann Carlton, Hunter Griffin (Haley), Austin Griffin (Jessica), Josh Griffin (Austin) and Shanna N. Cooper; his great grandchildren, Daylin, Jaylin, Addie, Ollie, Booker T, James, Tyler, Kendal and Noah; and his siblings, Rebecca Eunice of Albany, Ray Griffin (Peggy) of Ty, Martha Sue Hughes of Baxley, Georgia and Dennis Griffin (Patsy) of Sumner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
