He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Duval Douglas and Louise Gibbs Douglas; his son Jason Douglas; and his sisters, Hazel Tillman and Elaine Douglas.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Faye Skipper Douglas of Sumner; his children, Stacy Douglas of Ashburn and Carla; his son-in-law Ricky Giddens of Tifton; his children, Jimmie, Donna Broadaway of Bridgeboro and Angela Liberto of Austin, Texas; his brother Delbert; his sister-in-law Clara Douglas of Sylvester; and his sisters, Reba (Larry Brooks), Gwen (Jim Nichols) and Sandra (Havard Harris). He is also survived by several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
