She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ford and Sally Jane Cox Ford; her husband Jim Monroe Harrell; and her sons, James "Skeeter" Harrell, Donnie David Harrell and Roger Winiford Harrell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sara (Phillip Tillery), Ilene (Arthur Westbrook), Ruth (Carl Lloyd), Martha Summerlin (David Yarberry) and Jackie (Mike Medders). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
