She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Arlis and Willie Mae Dorminey Parks; her husband Bobby Leon Brown; her sister Willa Jean Irvin; her brothers-in-law, Q. L. Bridges and Murray Irvin; and her niece Vicki Irvin Knight. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
