It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilton Snipes Jr. of Summerville, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on November 23, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Wilton Eugene Snipes, Sr.; his grandparents, Thomas C., Rachel Laney, Ina Mae and Willy Snipes; his stepfather Billy Paul Wooten; his uncles, Wally Laney and Raymond Snipes; and his aunt Verdice Laney.
He is survived by: his mother Linda Laney Wooten; his siblings, Roger Lamar Snipes (Amy), Buddy Snipes and Connie Snipes; and his close friend Mary Cloud. He is also survived by 2 uncles; 2 aunts; several cousins.
Visitation will be held privately. The Snipes family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
