He was predeceased by : his parents, Franklin Money and Obera Johnson Money; his daughter Angie K. Otwell; and his siblings, John Money, Jean Freeman, Agnes Cavnah and Lois Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Peggy Suits Money; his children, Liz Johnson (Clint), Darlene Akridge (John), Susan Jones (David), Max Suits (Brandi) and Tammy Bice (Kelly); and his son-in-law Craig Otwell. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home (320 GA-48, Summerville, GA 30747). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at the Silver Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to the March of Dimes or Autism Speaks.
